Nuevo! JiaQi 8008, micro helicóptero coaxial de 4 canales de 17CM de longitud

JiaQi 8008

JiaQi 8008
Especificaciones:
* Longitud: 172.5mm
* Peso: 34.5g
* Batería: 3.7V - 150mA (Li-Po)
* Autonomía de vuelo: 7 - 8 minutos
* Tiempo de recarga: 20 - 30 minutos
* Radio control: 4 canales | Infrarojo

  2. Hola Adrián,

    Por supuesto. Una vez en mis manos, y luego de testearlo, compartire con todos ustedes una breve review ;)

    Un saludo!

    Hi! Would you allow me to ask something in English? I can read Spanish, but I really don't dare to write 'en Español' ;)

    I ordered 3 units from Gigxon for a bargain price on eBay (U$ 50 all 3 shipped) and they just arrived. I barely believed that the first I got out of the box flied nicely and worked as a Champ. But the other 2 has been problematic... they 'wobble' out of control when you try to stop their movement. Have you got the same problem? These 2 take off OK, move all right until you radically chance direction or try to hover: they wobble in growing circles until you catch them (or they crash with something, of course).

    If all had the same problem, I would simply ship them back for my refund, but one IS perfect! One wobbles mildly and you can almost control the effect if you plan your manouvers carefully. But one is almost useless. Any tip on how to "balance" this heli? You seem the only person who posted about having one of these little 'bastards'...

    Thanks from N.Y.

  4. Hi Mr. Krek, welcome on board ;)

    My English is not very good, but we will try to write as simple as possible :)

    I have not yet received my Jiaqi 8008, so I can not tell you anything about him. Regarding your helicopters, and as you mention, the problem could originate in the connect buckles of the stabilizer bar (are two small pieces like this form 0--0 ). I recommend you check it, can be locked. Remove them from their place and put them again to see what happens. Hopefully you can solve the problem.

    Cheers,
    Pepiche.

    Hi Pepiche!

    Your English is WAY better then my Spanish will ever be! lol

    Thanks for accommodating my post in a foreign language. That's really nice of You.

    Thanks very much for the tip. I'll try to do some testing with the connect buckles... I'll get to it first thing in the morning and then I'll post the results here later.

    Since I have a perfectly balanced unit, if it's not a matter of a 'crammed buckle', I can even try to swap parts around (I'll mark them with an UV marker to return them to the initial place, just to be safe). If swapping solves it, I'll ask the seller for a set of connect buckles...

    I hope find a solution, because the 'good one' flies really smoothly. I already had a couple 3ch micro-copters (V-Max 6020-1 and Minix) and I can tell that 4 channel is MUCH more fun to fly (but a bit harder to master, lol)

    Thanks again and I'll post back as soon as I can.

    Hello again.

    Sorry but it took more time then I anticipated for testing the buckle theory on my wobbling helicopters.

    I had to make through tests 'cause even swapping buckles the problem wouldn't go away.

    What I found to be mechanically at fault was a missing metallic pin on the balance bar of one unit. I improvised a replacement (a piece of paperclip wire) and then I made the "worst" copter got a bit more stable, with no more waggling when reducing speed (now it's like the other 'not-good' one), but the wobble and the concentric path-spinning are still there.

    I could notice that before take-off, with motors running but still landed, the "good" unit keeps the small "directional-servos" at rest, and on both others those small pinion simply keep being activated back and forth really quickly, like a crazy DJ scratching the hell out of his table...

    So it seems the problem is with the control part (avionics?). Maybe the Gyro is at fault, trying to correct non-existent movement, I don't know. I think I'll just sent them back. The thing is, I'll have to pay for the shipping back, and I wasn't willing to do that.

    Thanks for the help, anyway. I hope you get better luck with your units.

    Post your review when you get yours! I'll be glad to read it.

    Cheers and have a nice week!

    Oh, btw, I also swapped all blades, canopy, balance-bar, landing pads and even the tail-blade, but the "good" one kept flying OK while the "bad" ones was not fixed. So, not any of those external mechanical parts. That's why I concluded it was 'avionics'...

    Cheers!

  9. Hi Mr. KreK,

    If all these tests and did not work, it is likely that the problem is with in the electronics on board or in the Gyro system like you said. Unfortunately, there is nothing to do. I am very sorry.

    Try sending them back for replacement by a new one, but the problem is that the shipment may be more expensive than the helicopter itself.

    When mine arrives I'll be by testing its performance in flight. I hope it flies well :S

    Cheers and have a nice week!

    Hi again, Pepiche.

    As you predicted, I was about to ship them back to Hong Kong this afternoon but the cheapest USPS would charge me was about 43 bucks to send both helicopters without tracking! No way... :(

    It's cheaper to buy another couple. I just kept them with me, cursing the darned toys all the way back to the office. I msged Gigxon and I'll wait for their reply on this one, but they'll only refund/resend if I send this back, so I can imagine what they'll say... :/ Maybe they agree on sendind a couple pre-tested control-boards.

    Man, I hope you get luckier then me.
    (btw, both defective are red and the good one is blue... what color did you order? lol) 8)

    All the best, dude!

  11. Hi Mr. Krek, welcome again :)

    Thank you for your comment. Yes, definitely, the shipping is more expensive than helicopters :S

    So you say the red helicopters could come defective? And we will check ... I ordered the same color :S (Oh my god!).

    Now we just have to wait to come and test whether flies correctly. I will keep you informed.

    Cheers,
    pepiche.

    lol, Pepiche, I'm not cursing the red ones or anything, I swear! ;)

    Let's just say the statistics are not promising with the little sample I have:

    3 tested units = 1 good Blue + 2 bad Reds

    33.33% successes
    66.67% failures

    100% blue OK
    100% red BAD

    Not very representative, but a hell of a coincidence, dont you think? 8)

    I hope your's flies well.

    Have a nice 1!

    Just arrived my Jiaqi 8008. You were right, this helicopter comes with problems!

    I received in blue color, but flies very bad!
